The Space
Conceived by the celebrated designer Thomas Schoos, Wilshire’s environment inspires distinctly different moods from indoors to outdoors. As one moves from the lively indoor bar to a quiet dining room decorated in the style of a library or from the beautiful outdoor bar to a private dining suite, guests will discover changing surroundings. A quiet fireside table on the outdoor patio might be suited to an intimate romantic evening, while the restaurant can be set up to easily accommodate large celebrations for up to 300 guests.
Interior Dining
Wilshire’s indoor spaces are bathed in burnt orange and amber, featuring an expansive lounge, brick walls illuminated by candlelight, chocolate-brown leather couches, and a long, softly lit amber bar accented by plasma screens displaying shifting images of natural landscapes. Off the entrance is The Library Room, a private area equipped with audio visual equipment and iPod docking for presentations and entertainment.
The adjacent main dining room is accented with antique mirrors, coffered ceilings and leather banquettes bathed in amber candlelight, offering views of the outdoor landscape.
Outdoor Dining
Moving to the outdoors, Wilshire is arguably one of the best venues for patio dining in Los Angeles. The outdoor space boasts tri-level dining, complete with a spectacular outdoor bar, fire pits and fountains, in use throughout the year. Hailed as the one of the top 10 outdoor dining spaces in America by Bon Appetit, guests enjoy lunch and dinners beneath the canopy of leafy trees, awnings, and ultimate privacy.
